Which one leaves longer and why, the 2 strokes or the 4 strokes?

The 4 strokes do, cause well, I dont know, they just do. BUT 2 strokes are somewhat easier to repair.

Default Which one leaves longer and why, the 2 strokes or the 4 strokes?

because the two stroke uses the gas to lubricate the crank, you will find yourself redoing top ends more frequently than a four stroke. The other point is two strokes have about half the moving parts so repairing or replacing a top end takes damn near nothing.

they can both be rebuilt over and over...resleaved then start all over!!! 4 strokes have a valve train to oil and replace, 2 strokes have more top end work (easy). they are both fun!!! i have one of each... totally different rides. WEEDWACKER VS. TRACTOR THEY BOTH TEAR UP THE LAWN !!!

re-sleeving is expensive...specially on LTs [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] I still havent found a decent place to do the work for less than $500
