Wheel Hop
#1
I finished fixing my rear wheel wobble by replacing the rear bearings, and now I have had a little time to play. The front right wheel starts to hop or shake really badly at about 30 mph. I wouldn't think that this would be wheel balancing at these speeds. The tires and wheels I have on there are brand new. I'm just not sure what would cause it.
There is some play in the steering linkage. I have the joints to replace it, but that's tomorrow's job. I wouldn't think this would have much affect on the wobble though.
Thanks!

I have no idea. I guess that's another question I need to ask...
okay here goes:
How do I set the toe? Not how, because that seems obvious, but how do I want it set, or how do I know where it is set.

I am not 100% sure what it should be at...I am sure if you do a search you will be able to find something to tell you how it should be set...and also the tires might be causing it too...are they the same tires you had on before? or a different brand/type

hey thumper, didn't you just have the rear axle apart? check the alignment of the u-joints. if they are out of line this will cause exactly what you are describing, it'll be the rear but feels like the front. the joints must line up exactly or the timing of the axles are off and the joints wont bend correctly.
