what quad will come up on top in a head to head compatition, race, top speed, and mobility? asking in intrest of perchising one of the two, and vary undecided i persnaly like honda quads but my buddies say yamaha what is the beter machine?

alrite to me i like the honda 450r cuz for one it doesnt feel like i'm sitin up to high like the yfz450 for two its a honda and three there almost the same the, yfz 450 tops out like 2 or 3 mph's faster but i rather that the comfert that goes with the honda

 

In stock form the honda is 2-3 mph faster but it is all a matter of taste... Do a search and you will find more than enough info on these to great bikes

 

Like Hornet said the 450r is 2-3 mph faster if both are in stock form. The YFZ comes really corked up from Yamaha and responds excellent to new pipes and rejets. The Yamaha is also more set up for MX racing right out of the box with suspension that is made to handle the hard riding of MX but is a little stiff for your everyday casual rider.
The Honda has a nice comfortable ride and also responds well to mods.
I have always been a loyal Honda rider that is why I waited for the 450r to come out even after Yamaha came out with their yfz. I was tempted to buy a yfz but I stuck with Honda and am not disappointed. I don't have to be the fastest one out there and my 450r suits my every need.
