I would have to recommend the HPD system. It responds best with their clutch kit and their carb/airbox mod as well. Check out www.hpd-inc.com. The exhaust system is about $300. The only downfall is that it doesn't have a USFS spark arrester. HPD's Scrambler page.

Some also go with the White Bros. slip on for about $199. There are a few people on here that have them that can tell you more.

Pro Circuit also makes a nice full system complete with 6063 aluminum muffler, 304 stainless header and the (sometimes) important USFS approved spark arrester. It will cost you $379 and appears to be of excellent quality.

Hot Seat Performance makes a pipe as well as a "speed kit" for the Scrammy.

You can also check out Aaen Performance. They have a few mods for the Scrammy too.

BTW, were you choosing between the Scrammy and the Vforce in your other post or were you just wondering how the Scrammy compared to the V?

i have the white bros slip on and i would recommend it for sure! youll see around a 5 hp gain with a new slip on.

the stock scrammy has plenty of power, it just needs better power transfer to the ground. your biggest improvement will be a clutch kit. you can get them from a handful of companies, like OFRDR15 listed.

another one is erlandson perforemance(EPI) thats where my clutch kit came from. but they all will provide you with a setup that will work for you.

probably the best idea would be to call rick ritter at ritter cycle racing(RCR). you can chat with him and he can provide you with the expert advice and parts that will fit your riding style. hes just a great guy.

hope this helps!

X

rcgolfman I have the white bros too and left the jetting the same and it worked great!

If you want a big improvement, get the HPD exhaust with the airbox mod, the airbox mod comes with all the stuff to rejet.

as far as exhausts I was told the HPD gives you around 4HP more in the top end than the white bros, but for lowend they are very similar.
HPD also matches there clutch kits to there exhaust, not so with the white bros.

Money is the main thing to consider!
White bros, jet kit, white primary violet secondary springs for less than $250. best bang for your buck!

if money isnt as important I would pick a company and stick with them, so your parts are matched. HPD seems to be tops but others I am sure are very close.

If you call rick ritter he can set you up, and give you some Ideas!

i have a HSP full system and i felt good power gains, low and mid end, but from every1's recomendations i would go with the HPD, however if i had to stick with an exhaust system, id stay with mine, its worked great and it has a really good grunt to it

For the scrammy, get the white bros($175+-), and a white primary(HPD-$20) with a violet secondary spring(HPD-$20) and set secondary to 2-2, total should be around $200 and will make a huge diff!

Changing out to a white bros takes about 10 min. , direct replacement from the stock, diff bolts and spacers that come with the exhaust.

Changing the clutch springs takes a little longer but is well worth it!

If you are interested in the springs, I will sell you mine, as I have a full clutch kit comming tomarrow from Rick (RcR). let me know(private message me).

Were did you get your parts?
I'm looking to do the same thing on the mods.
what are the springs for? I have a 2005 scrambler 4x4 500 totally STOCK

I need more power as my bro has a 05 king quad. I would like to run away from him.
All I do is ride in the desert, no mud Most of our riding is around 20-30 mph. I need to be quick yet reliable.
Any info would be great. I'll buy your springs if they will work for me.
