where can i mount my ignition?

Default where can i mount my ignition?

I just got new bars and dont know where to mount my ignition on my 2005 300ex..... please help.

We put ours in the tank plastic, under the bars, on the right hand side.

Hey riding boy this is what i did what did was kept my my handel bar cover on and took a dremel and just cut around it, cause theres a line around the the screws and ignitnon so it looks like a square and i just cut that out and it looks like a 250 with it covering the bars it looks good sorry i dont have ant pics of but good luck

Default where can i mount my ignition?

I did the same with the handle bars and decided to mount the ignition under the body right below the gas tank....Look under the top of the frame on the non drive side....there is a hole in the frame that will accept a small lag bolt..I used a clamp that had holes drilled in it already and mounted up under there...That way it was protected from debri and it was out of the way...clean look and did not have to drill holes in the plastic.....it mounts right up high near were the right fender and tank met...Look at the frame in there for the hole and you will see what I mean....
