Hey Paulie

When I run my 20's I use a front one tooth larger and a rear two teeth smaller with the stock number of links on the chain and my top end speed was about 4 mph faster than stock sprocket and tire sizes.

This is the only combination I have tried since I could have I chain while having 2 gearing choices.

You can't go more than 2 teeth in the front.

Here is a link to a 38 tooth rear sprockets for 83-85 Honda 200X

DENNIS KIRK
parts unlimited brand

With the 38 rear your sprocket ratio will change from the stock ratio of 3.33 to 3.17 which will give you more top end speed.

DO NOT FORGET YOU WILL 'PROBABLY' NEED A DIFFERENT NUMBER OF LINKS IN YOUR DRIVE CHAIN.

With the 13/38 combo I run I can use the same chain as when I run the stock 12/40 combo.

Oh yeah

It would be cheaper to get a 1 tooth larger front sprocket, that would bring the ratio to 3.08 and be a little more top speed.
