Default Predator weight reduction...

I am wondering if any of you can tell me some ways to reduce the weight on my predator? I'm taking out the head lights already and could use some advice on what else I could remove, without making it less reliable or sacraficing saftey! If anyone has any suggestions I would appriciate it.

Thanks

Kmoney, I see you might be getting Doug's carb mod, if you do I would get the twin air filter. I sure Doug will tell you about it. And maybe going with a 40t on the back instead of the 13t front, only the 03 can run the 13t, it will ware out your chain slider. I think it has some thing to do with the swingarm is longer on the 03. Just a thought

Before I start shaving some weight off the Predator, I need to shave some weight off of me.

Extreme ATV Racing has light weight swingarms. I think they said about 8 pounds lighter than stock. Marven Shaw type shocks will shave about 15 pounds. Rath Racing Heel Guards about 8 pounds off. Rath Racing Subframe takes off another 3-4 lbs. If you do not ride in the mud then toss the airbox. That should take off a few more lbs..
