98 big bear

i have 98 4 wheel drive big bear, my question is can i install a kodiak cyl and piston, without major mods? like putting in different rod, im going to change to a better cam so that isnt a problem im wanting to know will it bolt right up?

I have a 99 BB and find it a great machine. I too haven't heard of this year with a dual range transmition. I did notice that they come with two different headlight setups. One with dual rectangular lights and the other with dual round units, much like the Grizzly.
