I looked up the part numbers for swingarm assembly for the scrambler 400 2x4 and the trail boss and they are different. The scrambler is 1541397 and the trail boss is 1541383. I am not sure if the scramber one would work. I would be interested in getting one though, the rocks down at Wayne National Forest are sure rough on sprockets. Maybe I will email Chopper Bill and see if there is much of a difference in the size of the swingarm.

How is the 325 with the jet kit & clutch kit?

I want to get a EPI clutch kit, K&N power kit, re-gear it for more top end, and put on a universal White Bros muffler.

I was also thinking of fitting up a bigger carb from a sportsman 335.

Thanks,
Joe

Polaris part # 2872701 will fit your 2000 Trail Boss. I put one on my wifes machine and it fits and works nice. A little pricey at 100.00, but cheaper than the constant adding of chains and sprockets and even an occassional brake disk. This guard's installition is pretty flexible and fits three different swing arms. Hope this helps and if you have any questions or want to see a picture, let me know.

Ken
