I'm thinking of re-building or recharging the rear shock on my 350X. Probably replace all the bearings,(Swingarm, axle bearing, bleed brakes while I'm at it this winter) Was wondering if anyone ever had their shock re-charged or rebuilt and could give me some info on the subject. Checked with Shoc-Connection, and they want around $599 for a new one !! Ya, Right!!

How much do you want for the shock? What kind of condition is it in?

 

I still have to do some research on the shocks to find out why some of them have gold rebound *****.Does anyone know if the 86 350x had a gold rebound ****?

 

The gold **** was on the 86 models and the 85 models had a black ****. This is what I was told by a dealer when I checked on the one you sold me many moons ago. They even had different part numbers but they are the exact same shock.
