Got a question guys, I have v shaped sand sharks right now and was wondering what are the diffirences in the v paddles and straight paddles, also Im running ten inch rims, Is there a diffirence other than the diameter when you run eight inch or nine inch rims?

The chevron paddles will let you turn easier and are less aggressive in the straight ahead, and that was the intent of the design. Straight cut paddles are best for climbing dunes or hanging the side of bowls, but you don't turn as easily. I've run both and prefer the chevron paddles as I like to ride all over the dunes and not just race up dunes.
The 10" rims give the tire a lower profile and take a lot of the flex out of the sidewalls while turning. I now run 10" rims and will someday go to the 12" to get even less flex.
You also need a paddle tire that you can spin easily. If you get tires that are too aggressive they will rob you of power at times, like pulling up a big dune. You need to be able to spin them. If you are running a basically stock 400EX, don't get too aggressive. You won't notice a problem until you start hitting big hills and can't quite make it all the way, and you will start to carry your front wheels when you don't want to. I have a slightly moded 250R and run SandSkat I's. They work very well for me. My wife's slightly moded 250R is running Skattraks that are more aggressive than mine but her machine is more powerful than mine and so far no problems.
Also, don't get tires with more than 8 paddles. You'll never spin them. I hope this helps.
