Chain Adjustment on 2000 Trail Boss 325
#1
To adjust the chain tension would I loosen bolt #26 and rotate the wheels in this diagram? Anything else need to be loosened before it can be adjusted?
Thanks for the help! I just found this place last night and it looks like a GREAT resource. Hopefully I can be of some use.

Yes, those two plus the bottom bolts on the brake caliper. On the 2000 model, it part #14 on the rear brake diagram.

Worked great. Chain is now tightened and lubed.
One thing I couldn't figure out was how to do the locked axle carrier and spin the tires to tighten the chain. What I ended up doing was removing the trailer hitch, jacking the back end up with a floor jack by the swing arm and spinning the carrier with a REALLY big pipe wrench. Minor detail, but maybe this info will help someone in the future.

Usually what it takes on the first time. If you have two people you can roll it and use the BFW and that usually works. Glad it worked, enjoy the ride!
