I have a Honda 200x atc. When I start the 3 wheeler it starts rigth up. I let it warm up and then try to go riding. Th problem is it dies out. I'm usually able to get off in first gear then it will sputter and die. If I try and out it in second it still dies out. If someone can please help me. This is my first 3 wheeler and this is all brand new to me. Thanks for any feedback that I get.

 

Honda ATC's have a air switch on the gas cap check and see if that is blocked or also check out the gas filter that is in the tank you can do that by removing the gas on-off valve and then you will see the filter. If all that fails check and make sure the pilot screw is not closed. Maybe even remove the carb and make sure that its good and clean inside

First of all I would like to say thanks for the feedback. It seems the throttle valve is stuck open. I closed it but now it will not open. I sprayed some carb cleaner and it seemed to open and close. When I twiisted the throttle it would not open. It just remained closed. Thanks for any help you can give on this.

 

I started it and it was revved like the throttle was all the way open. Had to shut it off immediately. Do I need to mess with the throttle wire on this problem?
