I asked for the headlight assemblys when I bought this atv and also have contacted my dealer recently again. They have told me that it was against federal regulations to sell a youth atv with working headlamps. They gave me some clues as to were I could purchase them but would not sale them to me. A place called Sun Products is were they sent me but the phone number was wrong and I can't find them on the internet.

fraizer,
It appears nobody has replied with the exact bulb socket size or wattage limit for the needed bulbs in your factory "optional" lights. As a suggestion, remove one of your light assemblies, disassembly it and take the part the holds the bulb socket to many automotive stores. Could even try a few WalMart / K-Mart or even autozone retail stores. As the Sales Rep to help you find a bulb that fits into your socket. If the Sales Rep isn't too busy, they sometimes bend of backwards for little things like this. Once you have the bulb socket size number, you can then look at their watts. I remember reading somewhere that an E-Ton front bulb is 5 watts. Don't know if this is true. If you can, try to stay under a system load of 30 watts. For example, 2 x 12W bulbs for the front and 2 x 3 watts for the rear lights. Or, go for 2 x 5W in the front. If they are too dark for your needs, upgrade to the next higher wattage. If using for DRLs (Daytime Running Lights) only, you're bulbs don't need to be too bright. In other words, don't over tax your electrical system unless you need too. RE: Driving at night all the time.
For our '03 Pred-90, we installed 2 x 10W in the front and 1 x 5A combo brake & trail light. For pictures, surf: - Press Here -
Our under 3o watt load bulbs aren't the best combo for night driving but it does get our Pred-90 back to our trailer at sunset. But on the postive side, these lights are perfect for cloudy day in dark bush driving conditions. Under max 30 watts and our battery stays fully charged as well.
Hope this suggestion and upper 30w max "load limit" helps...

If you have to buy the bulb socket & pig tail to fit your existing "optional" light assembly, surf: - Press Here -
Do shop around because prices do vary...
Hope this helps...

Thats what I got for ours. After getting them I think I saw some at a auto parts store but didn't look at them real close. If you follow Spikes advice and remove the light and take it with you to the parts store you will probly find the socket and pigtail to fit, you might have to change the connector on the other end though. Our bulbs were 5 watt. The lights are mounted to low in my opinion. They light up the area just in front of the quad well, but not much in front of it.
