Default E-ton Headlights

Despite the hassle of having to go out and obtain E-Ton headlight bulbs &/or socket pig tail add-ons yourself, the E-Ton mini owner folks are very lucky they can easily install DRLs (daytime running lights). Simply call one of the providers listed above (re: Billy Holt at WRH Racing, www.anythingatv.com, or another Performance dealer) and they will provide you the light parts that you need. Simple phone call and 7 days later, your mini will be seen much better during the day.

On the postive side, you could always own a mini that doesn't come with any lights assemblies at all. For example, the Pred-90, SP-90 or DS-90 brand owners. Many of us folks who don't have factory light assemblies had to spend hours and hours in our garage trying to figure it out. Lots of trips to the local automotive store and lots of research on forums like this. Not to mention many hours of trial and error to determine the max wattage levels on our own specific brands. Installing DRLs on these brands is much more hassle then simply calling a mini-quad Performance dealer &/or calling a 1-800 number listed on a web site.

I know the lack of DRLs on minis it isn't right. Many of us know it isn't right. To me, all minis should come with DRLs. Have them bright enough to be seen during the day (cloudy day in a dark bush riding conditions) but dim enough to discourage parents from allowing their kids to drive in the dark. Just like the DRLs on our new vehicles are useless to use at night. They weren't designed to be bright enough to be used at night. Currently, our world isn't perfect. Gas prices and ATV insurance rates is another example how things aren't perfect in our world either. But, we have to live with today's rules (right or wrong).

Just my 2 cents...

That's correct, they should be there from the start. 30.00$ for two sockets,16" of wire, and two bulbs is nuts also, then you pay shipping also. I'd look at the parts store.
