I am going to buy new bars for my Raptor. I was wondering what everyone's opinions are on Brand and Bend. Also what price and the best place to get them from. I am 6'3" aggressive rider.

Thanks

here's an opinion. spend your cash on something meaningful, like exhaust or other performance enhancing item.

OK heres a reply for you.I just put on the renthal black alumanum bars. They were made for the banshee but the bend is very very close to factory.I think they are actually more comfortable then the factory ones. They also have a crossbar and Yes the factory key,led holder fits in between them with no problem, you just have to reach over it to put the key in but its no big deal.I also added the ez pull msr clutch lever eliminating the parking brake assembly and cable and added a Garmin Etrex gps with the handlebar mount.Look for pictures to come.Hope this helps.

The talk about bend is appropriate, but there is more to selecting new bars than merely the bend, such as rise, width, & pull- back. Handle bars with the wrong selection of one or all of these can make for a very uncomfortable, not to mention uncontrollable, ride. For example several makers make what they call a "CR" bend. Most all of them differ in the above-mentioned dimensions, so the term is really meaningless. One needs to base his selection on (1) his height & arm reach, (2) on his riding style, such as frequent standing as in attacking whoops, etc., or casual sit-down riding, and so forth. (3)_ width..bars which are merely too wide but suitable in the other dimensions can of course be shortened, but the reverse would be impossible naturally. (4) last but not least, rider's preferences notwithstanding all of the above.
Bottom line: don't forget about the bend but also don't forget about the other factors either!
One other thing re alloy bars: If you ride agressively and/or for long trail rides, alloy bars are flexible enough to reduce arm pump & general body fatigue if correctly selected.
