Default help me price a used 400cc 2000 sport (2wd)

I have a friend who is in desperate need of cash and wants to sell his 2000 400cc (2stroke) sport.
Its in great shape and really fast!!

can anyone give me an idea of what its worth? He is asking 2K for it. (He's also selling his 2000 arctic cat 4wd 400cc for 2K....my choice..LOL or both!!)

Anyway, any help is appreciated.

Todd

ask him if it was rebuilt specifically the piston.

I got my 2002 for 2100.00 but the place I got it from had really cheep prices it had no warranty and was kind of beat up. I would pay that 2000.00 for a sport. just me.

I'd sell my '03 400 2-stroke TrailBlazer with mods for 3300.00

Snag up both of them for that price! If you can.
Check the blue book values on this site in the classifieds.

I paid 2 grand for my 2000 2x4 400 and they were asking 2,500 and it was worth more.
Best 2 grand I ever spent considering a paid $7,300 OTD for my 700 (it does have 4x4)!

You can rebuild the top end for a couple hundred if and when (which should be soon) or have it done for under 400 with porting.

I would definatly get the Sport (scrambler).

thanks everyone....We offered him 10K for both 4wheelers and his Harley.

We'll see if he bites....Figure, that gives us about a 3K profit margin when we sell most of it off.
I want to keep the scramble (2wd) to go along with my 99 explorer 400 what we currently have.

I didnt know there was a blue book on here..I'll check it out..i used NADAguides.com to price everything.
