Hard to say just how bad it is , you may want to if you let it sit in the water and took pictures , but if you just went running throught it once or twice , you might still be fine.

I've ridden through streams and deep water, only problem I ever had after a long period of doing that was rear bearings going out, but the trails were extremely rocky too so it could have been a combination of things. Make sure you have larger than OEM tires on or you'll get stuck in areas if there a lot of rocks.

I had done numerous rides through water over my 22/23" tires without any problems. When I sold my DS 2 years later, the rear bearing were still tight.

My DS goes through just about anything I steer it into. Until I get her stuck! I have floated, yes FLOATED across some badly flooded out trails. The float was about 50 yards. The rest of the trails are mostly under water over the tires. I race through muddy trails and woods. I show little mercy. I have rode like this for just over 1 year. I took my axle out last week to replace my bearings thanks to what I've read on here. I must have got one that was put together pefectly. The bearing needed to be re- greased and that's all. But did I do that NOOO. Stupid me went ahead and replaced them. I could have got another year out of them. Maybe more. Maybe less, who knows. It was not hard to do either. I just had to get over the fear of not being able to put it back together after getting it apart.
I just returned from a MUDFEST event here in South FL. The name says it all. I ran my DS through some $h-t.
I hope I put my axle back in as good as the guy who put it together the first time!

I rode in some deep water. But i have factory tires still After ridin for a while in the water, i went on the beach, then the DS suddenly died? Took me a while to figure out the problem. It was a fuse. I must've shorted something out?
