Default 400EX A-arm removal

I have them all off accept where the boot connects onto the spindle. I removed the Castle nut but these things are pressed in tight. I even tapped them with a hammer and they won't come out. How did you get yours out? The tie rod ends came off easy but these are on there good. It's hard to get a hammer on top of the bolt and when I hit it with the casltle nut on the end of the bolt it damages the Castle nut. If you could help and tell me how you got yours off it would be appreciated.

BTW, I don't like the idea of using heat because the spindle is alluminum and the rubber brake line is right there.

I smacked the side of the spindle a few times and they came loose. Try putting downward pressure on the 2 parts when hitting.

Thanks, I got them off yesterday. I used a chisle and put the caslte nut on upside-down and gave it one good blow and it broke loose. I usally don't like to force things because I usally end up breaking something put it worked for me this time.
