Default 400EX License plate holder....any ideas?

I gotta hang a licensed plate off the back of my 400ex. As of yet, I just have the stock grab bar. How have you guys been hanging the plate so it stays outta the way of the rear light. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

what if u zip tie it to the grab bar, sip tie it to the bottom of the light( let it hang a little so it is under the light adn not behind) or try adn drill holes in rear fenders and zip tie it( if u do that, yur tail light maybe block it) i would just try and zip tie or wire to bottom of light. my frined does that on his 300 ex and it works good.

garrett5462, thanks for the feedback. I was kinda hopeing someone had really creative way of mounting the license plate that would enable you to still see the rear light, still use the grab bar, and have the plate somewhat protected. Yea, I want my cake and eat it too.

trailgunner and yvillanz, I don't normally have a plate but your req'd to have one when riding in the allegheny nat'l forest. A couple of my buddies have started riding there and I decided to join them.

Thanks anyway guys for the input. I think I am going to fabricate something in the shop to hold it.

i mounted mine to the subframe, near the rear grab bar, it tilts down, and is pretty undisclosed location, when you can see it unless you bend down and look...

its required to have a plate where i ride too but like i said i run just like every 1 else we dont worry about them catching us because they have big polaris 4x4's and they wont catch sports unless i hit a mud puddle but either way sounds like ur not willing to take the chance of getting caught which is the smart way to go about it
