Yamalube 4-R Engine Oil

Has anyone used this Yamaha engine oil for their ride? If so, what is your opinion of it? From what I am told, it is a semi-synthetic oil that weighs in at 10w50 (yes 10w50), costing about $7 a quart. Thanks!
