tb oil injection block off question

do the kits that you buy from the after market companys have a plug to put in place of the oil pump gear that drives off the crank or do they recomend leaving the gear in and just blocking it off with a cover

tb oil injection block off question

Mine is for a 400 but it included a plug to fill in where the gear would go. I go mine from hot seat.
