I ordered an 11 and 12 tooth countershaft sprocket for my Raptor, from sprocket specialists. I was wondering what everybody's results were with them. Can you launch from a dead stop in second gear without it bogging? Did it hurt top end?

When launching on loose material, I could get out of the hole in second without the engine bogging with the stock gearing. With the 12 tooth sprocket, I can get pulled out a little better in second with a bit better accelleration afterwards. The gearing is still a bit high, so top end speed is still good. It is still faster than my brothers Banshee (since I sold it) on top, but we have'nt dragged to get exact distances to see if it has actually lost top speed. The 11 tooth sprocket would make the machine very strong with the only drawback of cutting the chain.
