Default Oil Injecter

I have a 92 AC 90 2 stroke that is injecting to much oil. The plug keeps turning black and the Quad smokes like my mother inlaw.

How easy is it to adjust?

Also I notice some people dont use the Injecter they just mix there gas. This would take care of the injecter problem.

Why do you guys mix oil and gas yourself?

Thanks

Pumps fail, premix doesn't. Plus you can get your mixture right so you don't foul as many plugs, you create less smoke and have less carbon build up. Trash it.

BUT, excess smoke can also result from the incorrect jetting.

.

To reduce smoke and/or plug fouling, 2 "most common" things that must be investigated.

The first is proper amount of Oil Injection &/or Pre-Mix. The other is Carb jetting.

To determine which, view the Spark Plug color. For a picture chart, surf:

If carb settings, you may want to investigate page 37 within http://www.kolpinpowersports.com/Serv_Man_V2.pdf
Note: Hopefully, you can find a simular Carb Setting Table for your AC 90 unit.

If you decide to remove the Oil Injection system, install a Single Throttle cable. For pictures, surf within:

Its got to be the oil. I put a new plug in and It only lasted a few hours, pulled it out and it was black with baked on oil.
