I just got my 04 Scrammy 500 and I need to change the jet. The've got things pretty packed in there and I can't figure out an easy way to change it. There has to be a decently easy way to get to the carb to change the jet. I'm hoping to be able to change it often since I ride at about 3000 feet higher than home.

 

I'm not for sure how much room is in the scrambler but if you can loosen up the 2 clamps and rotate the carb sideways you can take the bottom plug out to get to the main jet. Look here for the plug it's # 46.

 

The front plastic and the gas tank are going to have to come off to get to the carb. There is no way around it. Once you get the hang of it, you can have those off in minutes
