After the last episode of calling the wife on a cell phone , I was sure hoping I would make it home under my own power .

The weather was pretty good for the time of year , although the wind out of the south was a little gusty .

I hope you all had a nice weekend too .

I have a 1978 Yamaha DT400 Enduro ~~~(quit laffin')~~~ that I really enjoy .

I have 3 RD400F (1979) Yamaha Daytona Specials , all in various states of disrepair but 100% complete and worth repairing , Bubba keeps trying to talk me out of one . Bubba has a Waterbuffalo , maybe someday we can swap some equipment around , who knows .

Has that DT ever kicked back? I like to push a start button myself.

Yamaha has a kickstart activated decompression release on this model . When it does kick back , it does not have the *stepping on a landmine * effect of a 465 or a 490 . Ya get a little woof out of it , but nothing that is anything more than annoying even in tennis shoes .

Me and silverbullet (Dave) and another friend had a great ride. The weather was beautiful here in Michigan.

The Scrammy ran great Rick, thanks.
It's definitely the sportiest and fastest of the bunch out riding, Dave liked it too.
