I need help deciding which atv to purchase. This will be my first atv and it will be used mainly for plowing driveways.

Option #1: 2004 Polaris Sportsman 600 4X4
Comes with Polaris plow and detachable front storage bin
850 miles
$3800

Option #2: 2006 Arctic Cat 400 4x4

$3000

I'd vote for the Arctic Cat. You don't need much power to plow snow, and the 'cat comes with a true 4WD system that doesn't engage and disengage continuously like the Polaris AWD system. Two years newer, half the miles, and $800 less. Seems like an easy decision to me.

My vote would be also the AC since it has a very reliable and simpler air/oil cooled Suzuki 376cc King Quad/Eiger motor.

The 600 Polaris ligiud cooled twin was a short lived motor and between 04-06 Polaris had that ECM brain box issues.
Here some owner reviews on the 400 and they seem good Vehicle Reviews for 2006 Arctic Cat 400 4x4 Automatic .

But the 2004 SP600 owner reviews are not to shabby also infact it looks excellent. http://www.atvreviewnetwork.com/enth...e.asp?veh=7230

I would prob go with artic cat as well. I hear its one of the best of the best atv brands out there. Like what was said earlier, cheaper and half the miles.

The 600 twin probably has twice the torque which is nice when doing any type of work including plowing but a "400" will do the job okay.
