thank you, I have never really payed much attention to it. However after a weekend of driving to my familys home 160 miles, mowing, weedeating, and then Riding my atv I found no humor at all when I filled up my truck and 3........ 5 gallong gans of gas!!!! to a tune of 80 dollars....
I catch myself looking down at that gas gauge a little more now.

Our all time low was close to 9 mpg, deep snow in Wyoming. The best was almost 29 mpg riding from Big Springs Idaho into West Yellowstone on a nice trail. It was the old rail road track bed. We went 65 miles in D2 and used 2.1 gallons of gas. We average riding 2-up and tons of cargo about 18.5 mpg.
On our trip to West Yellowstone, our daughter rode a Suzuki 125, about a 1980 (orange) and went 63 miles on 1 gallon of gas. We couldn't squeeze 1 more drop in the tank. 63 mpg, pretty good.
