what type of performance can be expeted on alki over gas on 4oo scrambler with all hpd race mod and 15/1 cool head gys at fast by gast said ma be 5% bike now runing mide 5 second in240 feet need to be in high 4 secvond range to be compective wat you thinck bubba and all nick./

If you are going to alky,i would highly recommend getting a carb from Dennis Packard.I didnt have any luck with Fast by Gast.You will see about a 10 to 15 % power increase.The throttle response will be the biggest gain,it is very responsive.

 

I have go with CED Packard is great and his carbs are really nice. They are easily tuned, and the throttle response is much better. If you are mid fives now I dont think it will get you in the 4s. You may need to tweek it, but your setup now could be off a little. You never know if may help you out a lot. I think it would be safe to say that you will gain anywhere from a tenth to three tenths.
