they have great customer service!!
my scrambler has been in the dealer for 3 weeks now for tranny issues. well the dealer called yesterday. apparantly a c-clip came off a gear inside the tranny, and it tore the entire gearcase apart on the inside. so it needs an entirely new gearcase. well heres the good news, polaris is paying for the parts 5 months after my warranty expired. we have to pay for the labor, but theyre paying for parts. fine by me since its 1200-1300$ for parts.

that's cool, polaris customer service seems to be like a 50/50 thing because I hear alot of people say that PCS sucks but I also hear alot of people say that PCS has helped them in tough times or in cases like yours.

Now if only other companies could follow this "we'll treat you like we'd like to be treated ourselves" attitude.......Yamaha, cough, cough.
If ya take care of your customers, they'll come back. Some master's degree totin' yahoo can try to dig into it and make it some complex operational theory, but it's just that simple.

modquad, just to let you know, my next ATV will be a yamaha. not polaris. after having my kodiak for 5200 miles, the scrambler has already spent more time for repairs than it, and its only got 2000 miles on it. my next will be a grizz, no doubts about it.

Part of that customer service is the dealer. My wife's Blazer had some brake issues and it was out of warranty. The Dealer fixed it and said he would try to cover it as warranty work. I paid for the repair, and about two months later he called and said they covered it. Gave me a store credit for the bill. Worked out good for him, but I would have spent the money there anyway, and made him look good too. I have heard some people had bad luck with customer service, but I think that was dealing with them directly. If a dealer thinks he's going to lose a customer and future sales, he'll probably pull a little harder for you.

Well stated Scooter. I've heard more than one "bad experience", when a dealer change would take place, so would the experience.....from bad to good.
Good luck with the Grizz Gopher. Keep an eye on those rear trans to frame mounts.
