I can get a 440 cylinder and ported head for my factory head and cylinder and $400 IS THAT A GOOD DEAL? ( I have never heard of the guy who ported it) I figure while it's apart I might as well atleast re ring it or possibly bore, is it boreable? I cannot find a bigger than 89mm (440) piston in the wiseco book.

 

I think I would have to recommend that you pass. You can not overbore a 440 so you would actually have to buy another 440 kit and have a new sleeve pressed in. Also, I would not trust a port job from an unknown builder. It might be ok but it might also be a hatchet job.
