Default 800 Tires

Hi all! I just got myself a new 800 Sportsman and I am needing some help in deciding which tires to get for riding in the mud. I'm not looking to make a super mud machine and would prefer to not have to use spacers or a lift kit of any kind. I really want to get 27" mud lites but I am unsure if they will fit without using spacers? Does anyone know? Thanks for the help!

Welcome to the forum...

I would recommend the 26" Kenda Executioner tires. I have these mounted on a set of Vision rims....awesome. I have yet to get stuck with these bad boys...Here is the website address, take a look.

If you have the PXTs on your 800, try them out for a while. I think they're a decent mud tire. The extra 1/2" in ground clearance you'll gain with 27" tires just doesn't seem worth the hassle if your concerned with spacers and lift kits. Not to mention a slight loss in performance.

the 05 line of quads will accept tires as big as 28" without a lift kit. once you get 10" wide tires in the front and 12" wide in the back, you will need spacers
