Nothing cheap will really work. Best for the money is a pipe/filter/jet kit. About $300 for all that together.

i got one for ya. if done right, can add up to 5 hp. its called an exhaust mod. also, air box altering. plus a jet. all this can be done for a max of 50.00 bucks, or even less if you haver some skills, and a small welder!

first, remove the end cap on the stock exhaust. ( has 3 allen head screws holding it on) take a 12 inch drill bit, either a 3/8 or 1/2 inch. drill 10 holes with the half inch, or 15 with the 3/8 into the baffle inside the exhaust. now, drill out the spot weld on the end cap, removing the spark arrester( the screen thing) cut off the exhaust tip petruding out of the end cap. get a 1 1/2 inch exhaust tip from any auto parts store. make it fit into the hole in the end cap where you removed the old exhaust tip. weld it in place with spot welds. slide over the spark arrester, and respot weld it into place. put the end cap back on, using antisieze to keep the nuts from siezing on.

great sound, not overloud. adds less restriction, allowing more air flow.

now, take off the lid, and install 2 unifilters in the lid, ( about 5 bucks on line) you dont need a k&n filter, but it would be nice.
this allows more air in, and the exhaust allows it out. still legal, and still has the spark arrester in it.

now, do plug chops to see if your lean. the griz runs rich, so you probibally wont be, but be safe and do the chops. if needed, go up on the jetting, buying just 1 1 size bigger jet from the dealership. around 5 bucks.

turn out the idle screw to 3 1/8 turns out.

if you dont have a welder, then the exhaust tips are sold on ebay for around 25 bucks. the drill bit can be bought at any hardware store for around 10 bucks, if you dont have one. the unifilters are abundant, and can be found in packs of 10, or indivigually online at differant stores.
if done right, and if you have the tools to do it yourself, then this is the cheapest mod for more hp than ANY OTHER, PERIOD!!!

if you have more q, then shoot away!
