what sort of comp should i have on a gauge is 140psi the sweet spot or higher as i dont remember what it should be max to run pump gas? thanx

Id say 140 is pretty good. I had a trail cut head on my 4x4, which had 150 psi, and it seemed to always have a detonation sound to it.
And a few rides later it blew the head gasket- so i put the stocker back on.

 

i have not checked it yet i just want to know what the max is on pump gas i run 92 octane and can get 94 octane from the pump just want to know the max thanx

 

i got around 150-153 psi on 12.1 heads,on stock head at 140 psi sound like still brand new top end,it's difficult to say on milled head whatever you have done anyway..

 

well i finally checked today and it was @125psi ? should i bump it up abit? or just leave it?

 

you can still run it til the power just fade away like seem to be,
when the response become boring and power flat it time the rebuild.
