Default Flooded Arctic Cat 400i

Well We where doing a little creek riding this weekend and hit a deep spot and drowned my Atv. Well got it pulled out and towed home drained the tranny blew out the spark plug but still will not start it cranks over just no fire. I was wondering what else can I do. I have done this before but It usually started back up pretty Quick but this time it won't. A little information is a 2005 Arctic Cat 400i With no real mods and it has about 240 miles on it so it still not broke in. Do I have a big problem at hand or is it just something small. Also my axle clip came off and my axle is clicking I took it in and had the clamp replaced but still clicking and was wondering if the axle should be replaced or what? Please help I am getting worried.

How do you drain your carb? I really have no Idea how to do that. I would Imagine you just turn a screw at the bottom of the carb until fuel starts coming out right? Also with the axle it is engaging but the thing is the boot came off and it got a bunch of water in it and started shuttering back and forth rplaced the clamp and pumped it full of grease a little help but still clicking.

You might want to change the spark plug. If any water got in the cylinder that can ruin the spark plug and you get a no spark at the plug tip even though you have fire to the plug.

Yep, change the spark plug too, then it should fire right up.

Should check your engine oil for water before you turn it over. If that is full of water it isnt good to start it up.
