Default Over Sea Transactions??

Has anyone had any dealings with over sea transactions - as in selling a quad to someone over sea? I've had several offers on mine, but I don't know if it's a trust worthy transaction. Tanks for the help!

Don't do it !

Its a scam!

They will tell you to use western union or something and pay a middleman that is their rep to pick up quad etc...

If they want it bad enough, they'll fly over and give you cash. Otherwise, they'll rip you off.

I agree. Its a bad deal. If you get burned there is no recourse. No lawyers will handle it. Or if they do it will they will charge you but there is no guarantee to win a dime. If you still do it I would wait 3-4 months or more to make sure the funds clear or are legitimate before shipping the quad.

99.99% are scams. The other .01 % use cash.

Most deals I've heard of get pretty shady. Be afraid, be very afraid.

Its almost always worded like...

" Dear sir, I am very interested in the purchase of your_________, what is your last asking price....I will take care of the shipping...bla bla bla, sheet!"

Do a search in the bombardier section. Mrmeaner had the same issue selling a part using paypal. I thought it sounded like a scam and I got slammed. If you can't sell it to the guy down the street, it's not worth it. Don't forget the exchange rate on money, you'll lose there, too.
