My 01 warrior only clicks when i tried to start it. I just put brand new battery in 10 mins ago. wire connections at battery is fine. I have tapped the solenoid but that didnt work. Any suggestions????????? Please help me get this done before dark which is about 4 hrs. away

 

sounds like the starter is bad, try pushing the start button and tapping the starter at the same time. not shure if the warriors have either but just try to kick/pull start it

 

Let me try that. No they dont have the kick or pull start but there is a spot to put a pull start.

 

tell me how it works out, also if your really desprite to ride your warrior just have someone give you a pull or find a hill to pop start it

 

it sounds more like the starter switch(solinoid)

you can bypass the switch by jumping the current from one post to another like you might on a Ford truck with iether screwdriver or pliers

 

Ok i just tried the starter thing and it just made a weird noise and sparks flew. I know i can pop start it but i want to get it fixed or find the problem. i will try bypassing the current and see what happens.

 

thats not really good, where did the sparks come from?
