omg.. my slip on stock pipe fell off the other day so my dad put it back on with duct tape around it to hold it in place at the connection of the slip on and header pipe. My hmf just came in today and i want to put it on now, but the duct tape is melted on. I cannot put it over it, it just gets stuck. HOW DO I GET THE MELTED DUCT TAPE OFF!!!! PLEASE HELP FAST!

 

Have you tried using goo gone? How about heating the tape back up and trying to scrape it off with a razorblade or similar sharp edge?

heat it up with a torch and then put a wire brush on your drill and that should take it right off.

 

will paint thinner work?

 

you will need somthing like a wire brush or sand paper to roughen it up or else the paint thiner will do absoutly nothing, and make shure the pipes not hot when you dump paint thiner on it
