Got a 1996 polaris sportsman 500 with 650 original miles. Having minor trouble with it going into gear. Occasionally it goes real good all the time and other times it does not go well. It has also popped out of gear while riding slowly several times. Is this a major problem or just a linkage adjustment? Do the two linkages need to be syncronized in any way or are they independent from each other. How do you make the adjustment? Also, what do you recommend for a repair manual, Clymer, Haynes, factory? Thanks!
