I just joined a local track and have been looking to upgrade for a while now. I've mulled over the Raptor and the Z400 but now I'm thinking of buying a 450R. My question is, how much better are the YZ 450 and TRX 450's over the Z400? I really wanted to buy used and stay around the 4500 dollar mark but I realize that lomits my choices. I guess I'm trying to justify another 1500 to 2000 bucks for a pure race quad. Also, if I decide on a Z400, is there a real big difference between the 05's and 04's. I know they have a new suspension, larger carb and new gusett supports but performance wise, is the difference really noticeable? I don't really plan on racing competetively, merely just for fun. The 450r would be the fastest then you have the HRC kit. The 05 LTZs are a big driffernce compared to the 04s.
