what's up everybody, had a few people over last weekend to ride and party for the 4th of July and I only had the camera rolling for a few minutes lol.

This first video is my new pioneer 500 drag racing my friends mint 1985 Big Red 250 3-wheeler. We were more curious than anything as to what would be faster and I have to say, I was kind of suprised by the results.


This next video is of me and my brother ripping around the backfield of my property on my 700xx's. He just about the only person I'd trust to drive it this aggressively . He's on the black one and I'm recording on the red one. It rained a good 2 weeks straight before this was taken so the ground was extremly slick. Hope you guys enjoy

 

The results in the first video surprised me too.

 

I always thought the 250 was pretty quick. I thought it would smoke that Pioneer 500. Probably on top end it would though. Gearing probably makes a big difference, the Pioneer 500 obviously makes all of its power on low-end.

 

The BR250s gearing is actually pretty similar, 1st gear revs out to about 5mph and the top speed is around 45mph compared to 41mph for the pioneer. We raced 3 times, twice from a stop and once from a 10mph pull and the pioneer was the victor every time. This isnt your avg beat up 30yr old 3 wheeler either, it's only got around 25-30 original hours on it and runs like a brand new machine.
