Default Need your input

Could someone explain the difference between manual clutch and constant mesh. Which is better or easier. I have never had to change gears, so I dont have any experience with this. thats why I ride Polaris.

Manual Clutch is just that you have to use the clutch to shift gears. Its not hard. Just like driving a manual tranny in a car. It took the better part of a day to get the hang of it. Just get the feathering down and your good to go. For the sporty side of ATV manual clutch is the way to go. But I wouldnt want a clutch on a utility. Auto all the way on the big boys

Manual Clutches are constant mesh...I think it refers to the shifter returning to the same postion as if spring loaded instead of getting in a higher or lower foot/toe position depending on upshifting or downshifting.
