I think the Barnett carbon fiber kit is the best way to go, its not to expensive, its carbon fiber! and strong, i have not had one ounce of trouble with mine, and i beat on 'er pretty good, i hated the stock clutch b/c as soon as i started mods it would slip if i romped on 'er, got the barnett prob 2 years ago, awesome kit

I actually didnt do it, my cousin changed his own clutch setup and snapped a bolt and didnt tighten the springs down to the correct torque and it all went to hell, had to replace everything and he let our mech do it, so i didnt even wanna try lol, didnt take long to do, if u know what ur doing its prob an easy exchange but u need the proper tools

real easy to do dont forget to sand the metal plates and get you some rws 60% springs you should be able to do everything for 250. thats if you get a new clutch cover gasket.

I have found that the stock clutch with Ron Wood HD springs worked best on my quad I tried the Barnett and burnt it out in just a couple of rides. + I didn’t like the way it shifted

ditto that on the shifting issues with the Barnett- Ron wood 60% with stock fibers and steels holds up to 100hp if you don't slip the clutch too much.

depends on how worn the existing fibers are and if you've slipped enough to heat the plates to the point of warping. Pull them out, follow the manuals test for ensuring that the plates are true, replace fibers and springs.
