Default Scramber Questions

I know, these are stupid questions...

Do I have to remove my fenders and tank to get to my spark plug?

Where does the brake switch hook into the braking system. I don't see any wires for that on the handlebars?

You dont HAVE to take off the front fenders and tank to get to the plug, but, it does make it much easier to get to. Im not sure on the brake switch. Follow the brake lines and it should lead you to it.

Nice pics. I like the v-twins. This polaris is not the easiest bike I have wrenched on. There is a lot of maintenance stuff to keep up with, but I don't mind. Some of their design is just stupid, like the rear grease fitting under the shock mount. What spring are you running in your clutch? Mine needs some more kahonas.

Thanks,
Mark

Thanks!

I have the HPD brown primary spring, 55g weights, and a HPD TEAM secondary clutch.

It should be in the junction block under the tank. It points forward and can be accessed by removing the hood.

Here’s another question,

I need to replace my spark plug wire, it look like it runs up by the gas tank, where does it lead off to, what should I take off to get to it.

Thanks

Your best bet would be to remove the front plastic and gas tank to get to the wire
