Hello, I would like to remove the oil auto mix on my scrammy. What is involved with this? Is it easy and what would the fuel mix be? I sure would appreciate any help on this. Also, could I then run a single line throttle cable? The 2 stroke scrammy likes to tear your frikin thumb off after a long trail ride.

You can get an oil injector block off kit from any of the polaris aftermarket companies, HPD or RCR. You could also just remove the pump and take the gear off the end of the injector shaft and reinstall the pump if you don't want to buy a blockoff kit. You can then get a single throttle cable. Mixing isn't bad, get a ratio rite cup to make things easier. Most will say on the oil mix anywhere from 32:1-40:1. I'd say 40:1 should be fine with your mods!

 

Removing the oil pump and putting on a block off kit is probably a 30 minute job tops. As for mixing I mix at 40:1
