scrambler for me???
#1
hey guys i'm thinking about getting another four wheeler and i am thinking about getting a scrambler. would one keep up with a 700sp and a 400sp especially in the mud. i will also be climbing some small but semi steep hills too. would a scrambler be able to climb and play in the mud without burning up a belt. What is the deepest mud yall have been in with yalls. I am coming from a 400ex so how would this comepair to a scrambler. and last, how hard is it to pull up a wheelie.

well to answer ur wheelie question its pretty easy, w/o a clutch kit u can only do them from a dead stop but ive riddin one for probably at least 100 yards, just gotta pull up and hold on, ive been in about 3 feet of water with mine, the belt got wet and started slipping so i've been avioding the water

how deep is that on the bike, about fender highth. i used to have a 700sp and went where the water went over the front rack and had not problem with a wet belt or slippage. is this a problem with all scramblers or just a select few.

well ive been told to never go above the intake level with the scramblers because that can really f*** em up. i havent heard about many problems about scramblers getting wet. and yeah 3 feet would probably be b/t the exhaust and the fenders... u wont find a better trail quad..i love riding trails with my scrambler..thats where i can tell they run the best. They handle the hills fine..cept it can be hard to crawl with them just because they lack a low range but i havent not made it up one yet...They run great in the mudd to, to think of it i havent been in that much mudd b4, just because i hate washing my quad but ive never gotten stuck in the mudd but i have plenty of times in the snow
