The valves will be more of a tick sound not clunk. The clunking that you hear is primary clutch chatter. It is normal and all Polaris atv's do it. Some are more distinct then others. BBS will tell you the same thing.

Yea after mine broke in I started hearing all sorts of wierd knocking sounds and it is completely normal. Just check your fluids and you should be fine! Get an after market exhaust and you wont hear it any more

the white bros is definitely the way to go... more bang for the buck. youll see about a 3-5 hp increase...

it is considerably louder than stock. but thats ok cuz it just sounds baddass.

PM me your email address and I will send the valve adjustment procedure to you. The guys are probably right. The clucking sound is most like the primary clutch or the oil pump. Both are quite noisy

Remove your seat and make sure there is no water in your airbox. If there is there is a drain under it with a red cap in it. It could also be water in your switches, if you sprayed directly at the switches next to the grips. Most likely it will stop once you have drained the water or let it sit for some time to dry everything out.

As for the white Bros. I like it alot! it sounds like a harley, nice low rumble to it. but its not really that loud. you can adjust the loudness by removing some discs. I think it comes with 8 or 9.

If you want the most power you can get and don't need a spark arrester than go with an HPD full exhaust. The low end is about the same, but the upper range is about a 2-3 HP gain over the White Bros. I will be getting the HPD when I save up some spare money(early next year prob.).
