Well, I got my new Dirt Devil XT's today. I havnt rode on them yet, but tomm I plan on putting a bunch of miles on them. They are 26's, but actually measure about 27". That will prolly go down when I let a little air out. The dude at the tire shop has about 20psi in them now. He said it would help form a better bead. Idk, but I'm gonna run them like that tomm, then let some psi off. I got them and a set of 31x10.50 Kodiak AT's for my truck. All together less than $500 I was proud of the deal I got. I'll let yall know how they ride tomm. I put some new pics up of them on my page. You can see a pic of the old 2ply stockers I had on there, and you can see why I wanted some 6plys.

.........Get the 20 lbs out NOW.........that's WAY too much pressure.
The tire installer over inflated to seat the tire..........that done, reduce to the quad manufacturers recommened setting...........probably around 4.5 to 5.
Just a lb or two difference can really affect handling...........

Prong......I see you've got a Ramsey 2500 wireless........which is what I'm equiped with. I put the Amsteel Blue synthetic on it......great stuff......and very safe.
I was wondering how you like your Ramsey wireless......?

Hollywood,
I like the winch (especially the remote feature), although the only thing I've really used it for at this point was to straighten up an evergreen tree by the garage that got mauled by a blizzard we had about a month ago. Once I can shake loose of the $40 or so, I'll likely go to the synthetic rope too.

I think you'll like it. Just the safety factor alone is worth it......not to mention no more kinks or splinters.
Should it ever break, it simply drops to the ground like so much string.......no whiping like wire rope.
It also spools on easier......it doesn't need to be "layered".
Good stuff !

I'll echo Hollywood's comments. I run about 5 lbs in mine and it works well. If you'll be riding primarily on hardpack, I'd even go down to 4lbs.

As for the psi, I let it off the day after I got them. He purposly put that much air to help seat the tire. I dropped the back to 6 and the front to 7psi. I dont really know if there is any power difference, not enought to notice. I did notice a good bit more grip on hardpack and loose dirt. I didnt really get in any mud(dont ride much mud anyway) The biggest thing is they ride amazingly smooth. Just as smooth as factorys, with alot more traction. I feel that my quad turns better w/ the Devils, more lateral grip. They are an Inch wider on back and two inches wider in front than my factories, so a little more mud/water slung up but it slings more to the side than on you. I'm really pleased w/ them, especially considering the price. After the tire shop bought my stockers, I only gave about $120 for the whole set including mounting. I was amazed at how much harder they were to get on the rim than stock 2 ply tires. I guess thats why they stay on better. I got some new pics up so yall can see them mounted. I would recomend them to anyone who wants an agressive all purpose tire. They ride smooth, and hook up good. And for cheep.
