The raptor beats it in the trails, probably looses in the dunes, what about in speed? low end, mid range, and top end, i have never ridden or seen a race between the two so i was wondering.

 

I haven't seen two race, but I have ridden both.

The zilla I rode had a farely new top end with only a silencer on it. And it hauled! The acceleration was unbelievable compared to the raptor, particularly considering the weight of the zilla. Top speed, the zilla probably smokes the raptor.

 

Zilla is,lighter than the rappy and it has a top speed of around 82-85 mph stock give or take (do a search you'll find exact figures)And stock zillas produced 51RWHP. Haven't a clue what the rappy is to compare.

 

the zilla would kill any raptor modded or not with the zilla stock theres no comparison there the best of the best nothing is going to touch it except for full out drag bike with street bike motors in it

 

The guys saying the suzuki would win are right.Several of my friends have quadzillas.They would smoke the raptor I had.Of course two of them are ported.I finally got my banshee to where it will outrun them.It will take alot more than just a pipe to outrun a stock LT500.A piped Lt500 vs piped raptor.I would not want to be on the raptor,unless you think losing is fun.

 

i am yet to have a problem with a zilla on my raptor,I am piped and jetted and i race stock zillas and i beat them.

 

I was once told from a Zilla ower than Zillas top out around the same speed as the raptors but i have no experience on a Zilla so i would not know. I was told they go around 73-74 mph [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

 

stock zilas will do in the low 80's. Don't forget many of the stock zillas may not be puttin out the same hp as new as they mat be well worn engine wise. But try a rebuilt one. I'd race ye but I ain't gonna fly over. My zilla will do into the 90's but i haven't got there yet.

 

I have raced many zillas on my raptor

I find they accelerate a lot faster but top speed the raptor has the edge! I pull away from zillas on top end on a dry lake bed

 

Only if every rider you raced was terrible or the zilla's needed rebuilds.
