Two stroke engines require way more maintence than 4-strokes

LOL i am trying to think of a reason for a Raptor beating a Zilla.

A bad running zilla can get beat by a lot of lesser bikes, as can a poorly jetted raptor. But when they are all in good shape, the stock zilla should still have the edge over a piped raptor.

My zilla is stock accept pipe, filter, and reeds with a fresh top end about a year ago and Im pulling high 80s. Low 90s on pavement. If your raptor has a higher top speed then a zilla then its not running right or its been geared way down.

Although it is wide it will give you a run for your money in the woods. Being faster in the woods is more about skill then machine unless you have two very skilled and equal riders. I handle my zilla in the woods all the time. its a monster when your comming out of the turns and the bottom end you get with a powervalved 500 2stroke leaves you with endless power through the whole gear

A lot of people think that and I used to. There not that high maintence whats a top-end rebuild on a two-stroke evey so often (especially if you do it you'r self) and a new plug?

Where I live the temps change quite a bit, and rejetting your 2 stroke everyday of riding becomes a hassle. Dont do it and your bike will either be rich and run like crap fouling plugs left and right, or you'll run lean and blow her up. If a 4 stroke is properly jetted a 20 degree change in temperature probably wont even make it sputter, bog, or backfire.

I own a stock 2003 DS650 and I ride in the sand, I have been smoked by all the Quadzillas I have tried to race(none of them have been stock), I have raced alot of raptors also, I have only been beat by one raptor that was a 686 on NOS. The raptor only beat me by 1-2 bike lenghts. I would say from my personal expierence, the Quadzilla is a much faster bike than the Raptor.
